Adjusting Panes

Panes can be adjusted in size or removed from view in order to customize the layout of the FNO³ user interface.

These adjustments can either be made as follows:

• through the View menu of the Main Toolbar  
• dragging the Panes to the desired position.
• left/right click the vertical bar to move the vertical bar fully left/right
• When fully left/right click on the vertical bar to return the bar to the original position
• left/right click on the pane title bars to move the pane up/down

The diagram below indicates example cursor positions for dragging panes as well as the close button for closing panes.

Tips and Rules for Adjusting Panes

• Left click the Side Bar Panes Title Bar to move the Pane up
• Right click the Pane Title Bar to move the Pane Down (minimise)
• The Sidebar requires a minimum of one Pane present. To "remove" the Sidebar drag the File List Pane fully left
• The Notes Catalog pane must be visible in order to drag open the Viewer Pane
• The Viewer Pane can be located on the Side Bar or the Main Window under the file (see Main Toolbar View Menu or Viewer Pane)
